The Handwriting Analysis course teaches the student to use the skills of examining traits in handwriting believed to be correlated with behavioral patterns, as a tool in developing personality profiles which assist in choosing therapeutic strategies for hypnotherapy. This course is scheduled concurrently with 301 in order to provide the skills of handwriting analysis while the student is participating in the Clinical Case Presentations of 301, which often examines handwriting samples of clients before conducting in-class interviews.
While HMI’s Handwriting Analysis course emphasizes personality profiles for use in a clinical hypnotherapy setting, the class is also available for “non-hypnotherapy” students for use in a corporate setting or for preparation as an independent Handwriting Analysis consultant.
As a final exam, students are to complete a full scale handwriting profile of a class sample that is graded for accuracy, completeness, and style.
